VSE EZ Lynk Tuning 2022–2024 RAM 2500 & 3500 6.7L Cummins

Unlock. Flash. Tune. No ECM Swap Required.

VSE now offers EZ Lynk tuning for 2022–2024 RAM 2500 and 3500 trucks equipped with the 6.7L Cummins and factory CM2450B ECM.
Using the EZ Lynk AutoAgent 3, the factory CM2450B ECM can be unlocked and flashed directly in the truck.
That means:

  • No ECM swap
  • No older controller required
  • No mailing your ECM out for unlocking
  • No waiting for your ECM to come back
  • Unlock and flash through the EZ Lynk AutoAgent 3

Your VSE calibration is built specifically for your truck using the VIN, vehicle configuration, modifications, and information provided when ordering.
Once your calibration is complete, your tune files are delivered electronically through the EZ Lynk Cloud.

What's Required:

  • EZ Lynk AutoAgent 3
    • The AutoAgent 3 provides the interface required to communicate with, unlock, flash, monitor, and datalog your truck.
  • SGM Bypass Cable
    • 2018+ RAM trucks utilize a factory Security Gateway Module (SGM) that restricts communication with certain vehicle modules.
  • Custom VSE Calibration
    • Single Tune Full Support - Access to all singular power levels
    • CSP5 (Switch on the Fly) - Switchable tuning between 5 levels (Cummins CSP4/5 Switch REQUIRED)

Your VSE calibration is created based on the information you provide for your specific truck.
Depending on your selected package and configuration, we use information including:

  • VIN
  • Model year
  • Engine configuration
  • Transmission
  • Current vehicle modifications
  • Tire and vehicle configuration information where applicable
  • Intended vehicle use

The goal is simple: build the calibration around the truck instead of trying to make the truck fit a generic calibration.

Shift-On-The-Fly Tuning - Want multiple power levels without reflashing every time?

VSE Shift-On-The-Fly (SOTF) tuning allows supported trucks to have multiple selectable tuning levels available from inside the cab.
With the required SOTF hardware installed, you can change between available tuning levels without connecting the AutoAgent and performing a complete reflash.

Whats Needed:

  • VSE CSP5 (Switch on the Fly) Tuning
  • Cummins CSP4/5 Switch

Each SOTF position is designed with a different use case in mind. This gives you the flexibility to change the truck's behavior based on what you're doing instead of being locked into one power level.

Level 1 — Stock / Heavy-Duty
Best For: Maximum workload, heavy towing and situations where additional power isn't the priority.
This is the lowest-power setting and is intended for customers who want the truck operating close to factory power output.
Recommended for:

  • Heavy towing
  • Maximum GVWR applications
  • Work trucks
  • Hotshot applications
  • Extended towing
  • Extreme-duty environments
  • Situations where additional power is unnecessary

If the truck is hooked to a serious load, this is where we'd recommend starting.

Level 2 — Tow
Best For: Towing with additional usable power.
This level provides a moderate increase in available power while keeping towing and loaded operation as the primary focus.
Recommended for:

  • Regular towing
  • Equipment trailers
  • Campers and fifth wheels
  • Moderate-to-heavy loads
  • Trucks that frequently transition between loaded and unloaded driving
  • Customers wanting better response without moving into the higher performance settings

For many customers who regularly tow but still daily-drive their truck, this will be one of the most useful SOTF positions.

Level 3 — Tow / Daily Driver
Best For: The truck that has to do a little bit of everything.
Level 3 is designed as the middle ground between towing capability and unloaded drivability.
Recommended for:

  • Daily driving
  • Light and moderate towing
  • Highway driving
  • Work trucks that aren't constantly loaded
  • Customers wanting stronger throttle response and acceleration
  • Mixed-use trucks

This is designed to be a versatile setting for customers who use their Cummins as both a work truck and a daily driver.

Level 4 — Street / Performance
Best For: Unloaded daily driving with a stronger performance feel.
Level 4 increases available performance and responsiveness for customers who want the truck to feel noticeably more aggressive when unloaded.
Recommended for:

  • Unloaded street driving
  • Daily driving
  • Quicker throttle response
  • Stronger acceleration
  • Passing and highway performance
  • Customers looking for a more aggressive driving experience

Heavy towing is not the intended use for this setting.

Level 5 — Maximum Performance
Best For: Maximum available performance from the selected VSE calibration package.
Level 5 is the highest-performance SOTF position and is intended for appropriate unloaded performance use.
Recommended for:

  • Maximum available power
  • Unloaded performance driving
  • Modified trucks configured to support increased power
  • Customers wanting the most aggressive response available from their selected package

This setting is not intended for heavy towing.

Higher power increases stress on the engine, transmission, driveline, cooling system, and other vehicle components. The appropriate maximum power level will depend on the truck's hardware, transmission, modifications, condition, and selected VSE calibration package.
Power Levels Are Application Dependent
SOTF position does not guarantee a specific horsepower increase on every truck.
Available power levels depend on factors including:

  • Vehicle year and configuration
  • Transmission
  • Factory and aftermarket hardware
  • Fuel system capability
  • Turbocharger configuration
  • Vehicle condition
  • Intended use
  • Selected VSE tuning package

VSE will configure the available levels based on the information provided when the tune is ordered.
More power isn't automatically the right setting for every situation. Select your SOTF level based on the load, vehicle configuration, and how the truck is being used.

Transmission Tuning

Transmission tuning requirements depend on which transmission is installed in your RAM.

68RFE
Supported TCM calibration is included with the applicable VSE tuning package.

AISIN
Transmission Tuning is not yet available

Verify your transmission before ordering. If you are unsure which transmission your truck has, contact VSE before placing your order.

EZ Lynk Monitoring & Data Logging

The EZ Lynk platform isn't just used to flash your truck.
It also gives VSE and the customer access to useful vehicle information that can help evaluate how the truck is operating.
Available functionality includes:

  • Data logging
  • PID monitoring
  • Vehicle parameter monitoring
  • Diagnostic information
  • Calibration flashing

Data logging is especially useful when additional calibration refinement is required after vehicle modifications or configuration changes.

Disclaimer:
Vehicle owners are responsible for ensuring their vehicle and its calibration comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
Modifying vehicle calibration can affect powertrain operation, drivability, emissions, warranty coverage, component life, and vehicle performance. The customer is responsible for providing accurate information regarding the vehicle's configuration and modifications.
